Privacy policy

The short version
QuickPronounce Pro works without accounts, so we never ask for your name, email, or password. Words you look up are sent to our servers only to generate audio and fetch dictionary data, and are not tied to your identity.
What we collect
- Lookup requests. When you pronounce a word, the word and your chosen accent/voice settings are processed by our API to generate the response. Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp) may be retained briefly for abuse prevention and debugging.
- Aggregate analytics. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand overall traffic (page views, referrers, country-level location). This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify you.
- Local preferences. Your theme choice (light/dark) is stored in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device.
Third-party services
Audio is generated via a cloud text-to-speech provider, and definitions come from open dictionary APIs. These providers receive only the word being looked up — no personal identifiers. If advertising is enabled on the site, ad partners may use cookies as described in their own policies; you can control cookies through your browser settings.
Your choices
You can use the entire site without cookies or accounts. To clear your theme preference, clear your browser's site data for this domain.
